Garden & Landscaping

A garden you will actually use

Landscaping and full garden renovations across Blackfield and Southampton. We draw up what you want, price it clearly, and build it so the levels and drainage still work in five years.

What's included

What a garden renovation covers

Everything below is part of a garden renovation with us, and it is all itemised separately on the quote so you can see what each part costs.

  • Clearance, levelling and muck away
  • Patios and paving in sandstone, porcelain or block
  • Raised beds, sleeper work and retaining walls
  • Fencing, gates and boundary work
  • Drainage, soakaways and surface water run-off
  • Turfing, planting beds and topsoil

How the job runs

How we approach garden and landscaping work

Four stages, in this order, because running them out of order is what causes finished work to be partly undone later.

  1. We come out and listen first

Most people know roughly what they want the garden to do rather than exactly how it should look. We walk it with you and suggest options, including ones you may not have considered.

  2. You get a drawing and a price

A drawn-up layout and a price broken down part by part, explained so you can see what each element costs and adjust the scope before anything is booked.

  3. Levels and drainage before looks

Where water goes decides whether a patio stays usable. Falls, drainage and sub-base get sorted before a single slab is laid, because this is the part that cannot be fixed later.

  4. Build, plant and clear up

Hard landscaping first, then fencing, then turf and planting, with all waste taken away and the access route left as we found it.
